Evynne Hollens is a singer, writer, artistic director, and arts programmer with deep roots in the Pacific Northwest and a national track record in multidisciplinary creative leadership. With more than 15 years of experience curating performances, developing new work, and leading collaborative artistic teams, she brings a unique blend of community-centered vision, artistic integrity, and strategic programming expertise.

As the co-owner and Founding Artistic Director of One Voice Productions, Evynne has produced and overseen a wide range of artistic and digital projects, coordinating creative teams, managing complex production workflows, and collaborating with national partners. Her work has reached millions worldwide, including over 58 million YouTube views and 115,000 monthly Spotify listeners. She has released more than 200 music videos, spanning original work, contemporary musical theatre, and family-oriented content.

A University of Oregon alum and co-founder of the award-winning a cappella group Divisi (the inspiration for the Pitch Perfect films), Evynne has long been a creative force in Oregon's cultural landscape. She created The Contemporary Songbook Project, now in its 11th season at The Shedd Institute, where she curates, casts, and directs concert programming that highlights contemporary musical theatre writers and brings emerging, Broadway, and local artists to Eugene audiences.

Evynne's career includes four years performing with Royal Caribbean Productions, where she co-created and appeared in Voices, a hybrid live/virtual a cappella show that continues to run on Royal Caribbean's Wonder of the Seas. In 2017, she made her Broadway debut as a featured performer in Home for the Holidays at the August Wilson Theatre. She recently debuted at 54 Below in New York City, performing in "Let's Be Bad: Celebrating Broadway Villains."

Evynne serves on the board of the Eugene Ballet and is an active collaborator with resident companies across the region, including the Eugene Symphony, Oregon Contemporary Theatre, and the Oregon Bach Festival. Originally from the Pacific Northwest, she lives in Eugene with her husband and two children, committed to creating inclusive, community-centered arts programming and strengthening the region's cultural ecosystem through partnerships, innovative storytelling, and accessible, high-quality artistic experiences.

Mija: A New Musical

About the Project

Mija is inspired by the miraculous true story of a Latin American woman and her quest to reconnect with her roots. The musical weaves together English and Spanish, traditional Latin American sounds and contemporary musical theatre—honoring the bilingual, bicultural reality of millions of American families.
